WARNING TO TENNESSEE BEEKEEPERS AND FARMERS IN OR PASSING THROUGH TENNESSEE!

Be advised the you MUST NOT DISPLAY ANY SIGN OR DECAL ADVERTISING THAT YOU SELL HONEY OR OTHER FARM PRODUCTS! If you do, the Tennessee Highway Patrol WILL cite you for a registration violation. They WILL force you to buy commercial tags. Also, be advised that Session Court judges in Tennessee, as a rule, will not dismiss citations issued by the Tennessee Highway Patrol although in this case Tennesse Code Annotated 55-4-113 (a)(3)(A) specifically exempts farm vehicles from commercial license plates. I know for a fact that Greene County Sessions Court in Tennessee will not dismiss a registration violation on a farm vehicle. If you are interested in the exact text of the Tennessee Code go to Tennessee Code Annotated 55-4-113(a)(3)(A).
